Educational programme

Fun Activities

The course and materials used at our  Summer Centre have been designed in-house by our academic team to provide an affective, modern, structured learning experience.

This will enable the students to develop a range of skills, focusing on speaking and listening. We also encourage the children to participate as much as possible during lessons to build their confidence in using and understanding English.

All in all by the end of their stay they would have been able to expand vocabulary and improve their pronunciation.

The course is tailored and structured to include the activity programme where possible, and in those lesons we include excursion materials and project work.

The academic team is recruited by The Study Club to ensure that they deliver the highest quality lessons and to ensure the maximum involvment of each child. A Centre manage and Director of Studies are onsite at all times to ensure that the course is delivered as expected.

What’s included?

  • 20 lessons / 15 hours of English language tuition per week with qualified teachers.
  • 15 students per class.
  • Placement test, end of course report and certificate

Promoting and developing learning skills. Introducing new vocabulary and language concepts.

Link lessons are an excellent and informative way to ensure that the  students have the details and facts to hand before their visits. The lessons are aimed to provide interesting (and sometimes fun) facts about the variety of places they will visit during their time in London.

The students are given revision work throughout their stay and are given an exit test to show their overall progress during their stay.

Not all the students or groups want the same programme. So we have developed a few extra options to add onto the standard English programme.

Drama and performing arts.

During this option the students get the chance to develop exisiting theatrical skills and learn new ones. With professional actors and writers onsite the students benefit from the highest standard of acting lessons, writing woprkshops and stage management experience.

IELTS or Cambridge Exam focus

This is a great option for the older student (16+) that wants to ‘cram’ in some extra exam practise during the summer months. With experienced exam tutors and an engaging syllabus the students will benefit hugely before taking their exam.

Sports focus

An active option for the more active student. Whether you are honing your skills in your chosen sport or are a beginner and want to start a new sport we can assure you that we have the right instructor onsite for you.

The choices available are: tennis, rugby, basketball or football (soccer).
